What does a UK singer/songwriter, COVID-19, and your Non-Nine-to-Five purpose have in common?
At first glance probably not much but I'll tell you exactly what they have in common...
Jess Glynne is a UK singer/songwriter who 5 years ago put out a song entitled, Hold My Hand.
I had never heard of her or this song until 4 months ago when a quarantined family in Dallas created a funny lip singing video to the song that went viral.
Since then I have been hearing Hold My Hand in numerous places like Spotify, Facebook, and on the radio. I even went to YouTube to search the official music video and many of the comments were people saying they saw the Dallas family’s viral video and then searched the original music video for it.
What if Jess Glynne never wrote Hold my Hand?
What if she never performed it?
What if she never pursued her artistic purpose?
This is SUCH a fantastic example as to why it is imperative you follow YOUR Non-Nine-to-Five purpose.
We can NOT NOT NOT predict the future but we can take action to move forward on what matter’s the most to us, our purpose.
In support of your Non-Nine-to-Five purpose,
Jen
PS: Nicole, a Non-Nine-to-Fiver in both our Private 6 Month Program and our group program, The Employee to Entrepreneur Cohort is pursuing her Non-Nine-to-Five purpose and recently shared this beautiful celebration:
“I just booked not one, but two new clients! These are my first official students for my business, New York English Coaching.”
